Mark A. Friedrich, CFP®

Mark was born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey. He is a graduate from Westfield High School and The University of Hartford, located in West Hartford Connecticut. At the University of Hartford he majored in Finance and Risk Management. In college, he was elected Vice President of the Finance Club and Vice President of the Insurance Society. He was also elected to the Executive Board of his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
In 1993, Mark started his career with Prudential Financial in Warren, NJ where he completed his Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow designation or LUTCF. Mark has successfully completed the Fairleigh Dickinson University Financial Planning certificate program and met the rigorous education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements necessary to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
In 1995, Mark decided to join American Express Financial Advisors in Bridgewater, NJ. At American Express Mark earned the prestigious Mercury award. In June of 1997, Mark decided to become an independent financial advisor and not to be tied to a proprietary firm. This decision, which remains central to his approach today, allows him more flexibility and a greater choice of options for his clients.
In his leisure time, Mark enjoys golfing with friends and family. In October 2007 at the charity YMCA golf Outing, Mark got his first hole in one.
Mark has been married to Crystal since 1997 and enjoys spending quality time with his three children, Morgan, Taylor, and Carson.
